Hmmm..................today...................more cold weather and I'm feeling a bit tired. I'll be pretty happy after tomorrow is done. We still have to teach our regular camp schedule and then have Sun. off. The good news is that next week it'll just be Mon-Fri. All of the teachers and I are just kinda waiting anxiously for the end of the day tomorrow and I think we're gonna blow of a bit of steam afterwards. I don't really know what's gonna happen, but hell....I'll be along for the ride. I'm sure it'll be fun. At the camp, we're all in about the same age range, 23-30. The other teachers are from all over too....USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and England. It's got to be rather funny for the Korean staff to hear all of us jabbering away with our own respective accents. I've gotten quite used to it these past few days, but the first day I was rather thrown by some of them, especially the New Zealand one. The slang is laughable too. Maybe I'll pick up something fun to bring home and confuse everybody with. Dremus, a Kiwi (from New Zealand), mentioned something today about hockey sticks that was supposed to be asking me if I'm ok. I just kinda gave him my "huh?" look and asked him if it was Kiwi-talk.....uh....yeah......maybe I'll catch that one next time.

Per mom's request...I suppose I could let you know a little bit more of what (little) I've picked up about Seoul. Mind you, I haven't yet had much time to explore or do hardly anything but watch while we're commuting and check things out a bit from afar. It seems to be a really modern city. Take away the Korean signs everywhere and throw in English and I think it would look remarkably like a large western city. Oh and I can't forget the smog.....gotta mention that. It doesn't seem to be quite as bad to me as Manila though. It may just be the cold though that disipates it a bit. The technology here is amazing too. You should see the cell phones. They put the US ones to shame. The schools are large and spacious and remind me a bit of home too. Kids art work and projects up on the walls, there are books in all the rooms along with computers and televisions and boom boxes of some sort. This is definitely not a poor country. Well.....it may have a lower economy than the US, but it's not lacking that much. The won isn't that far off of the dollar either. It's hard for me to even compare it here to the Philippines. They have some similar asian qualities, but it still seems so different.

With that little bit written, I think I'll be heading up to a my room to make some spaghetti that's calling me and maybe sip on a nice brewski before setting off to bed. Bah-bye

More to come later.............
